Remedies of planet Jupiter according to Vedic Astrology

For removing effects of malefic Jupiter, Mantra and Stotra related to Jupiter are chanted. This can be started on any Thursday in bright half ( shukla paksha ). Total number of Japa of Jupiter is 19000 but in Kaliyuga, this figure must be multiplied four folds and hence 76000 Japa of Jupiter Mantra should be chanted. After this a Homa ( Fire ritual ) should be performed in which the Jupiter Mantras should be recited for 7600 times ( 1/10th of the total number of Mantras ).

A person should Worship Lord Vishnu to pacify the Malefic effects of planet Jupiter. He should visit a Lord Vishnu Temple on any Thursday and recite Vishnu SahastraNam there. A person may also keep fast on Thursdays and he should take the blessings of Saints and Seers on that day. He should also behave very nicely with Teachers and aged people. A person should also feed Yellow grams to cows and may donate Turmeric or Gold to a brahmin.

The Gem for the planet Jupiter is Yellow Sapphire which is worn to remove the Malefic effects of Jupiter or to strengthen a weak Jupiter. The Yellow Sapphire should be purchased on any Thursday of a bright half ( Shukla Paksha ). Ideally, the purchasing of Yellow Sapphire and making of the Ring should be done in Pushya Nakshatra, but the same can also be done in Punarvasu, Vishakha and Purva Bhadrapad Nakshatra also. The weight of the Yellow Sapphire should be at least 3.25 Carats and care should be taken that it is not damaged or with an uneven surface. The Yellow Sapphire should be embedded in the Ring in such a way that its bottom is in touch with the Skin. This Ring should be worn on any Thursday morning. Before wearing, the Ring should be dipped in the cow's milk for 30 minutes after which it should be cleaned with Gangajal ( Holy Water ) and there after it may be kept on a Yellow Cloth on which a Jupiter Yantra has been drawn and worshipped with incense sticks and Yellow flowers. After this, the Ring should be worn with utmost Faith and Devotion. If a person is not capable of purchasing a Yellow Sapphire Ring then a Citrine, Yellow Tourmaline OR Yellow Zircon may be used in place of Yellow Sapphire.

The Malefic effects of planet Jupiter can also be removed by offerings ( Donations to a Brahmin on Thursday morning ). The items of Donations are Yellow gram, Ghee, Fruits, Book, Gold, Turmeric Powder, Yellow flowers, Yellow cloth, Yellow Sapphire, Jupiter Yantra.

• You should apply a Yellow Tika ( Tilak) on forhead and Naval.
   
• You should Pray to Lord Vishnu or Lord Brahma.
   
• You should offer water to a Banyan tree ( Peepal) on every Thursday.
   
• You should have plants with Yellow flowers and leaves.
   
• You should serve to Saints and seers and take their Blessings.
   
• You should wear a Yellow Sapphire in your index finger.
